The temperature is on the rise & I feel like I'm coming out of this long hibernation. I'm going to aqua fit classes a couple times a week and not getting on the scale, but a pair of pants I bought for work just two months ago need TAKING IN, so something is going good!
My eating has been replaced at night with little projects for my business. I'm making these adorable "Passion" bookmarks that I'm going to be handing out at a bridal fair this Sunday in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. They are going to be in a goody bag of items for brides-to-be that are interested in having me do their "Ultimate Bachelorette Party" or "Bridal Shower" and there are going to be over 400 of them!
Last night though, I was sitting on my daughter's sofa with my hands unoccupied. We were watching "The Bachelor" and our guys were somewhere else in the house (yes...it WAS Valentine's Day!!!) and I ate way more than I should have of pretzel sticks. I wasn't even hungry. I was just eating because I was bored.
When I came home I parked a block away from my house, walked a bit (would have gone further if it wasn't so windy & cold out) and came inside to a big glass of water. I brushed my teeth and went for my project.
Conclusion: Busy hands at night make it MUCH easier not to snack! I recommend getting a hobby if you are a night time eater.
Feeling great about myself and guess what? For the first time in a long time, I'm not waking up wondering how much I weigh!
